First official video of the new CDJ 2000 Nexus.
A week or so ago Pioneer first teased the Pioneer CDJ Nexus or NXS with this video on youtube.
Using some careful camera work and some blurry footage they teased but didn’t actually show us what they were teasing. DJ TechTools are currently reporting that they spotted a photo of what could be the new Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus (due out September 6). They’ve linked to a Korean page where the image originated from and even uses the supposed model number CDJ-2000NXS. As you can see from the picture there are two new silver buttons above the pitch slider which DDTT think may be to do with a rumoured sync system, could it be true?
There is also 5 source buttons instead of the normal 4, most likely taking a leaf from the Pioneer Aero and taking advantage of the new wireless Rekordbox loading system. Finally a DJTT forum user spotted an italian page listing details of this product.
This Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS/Pioneer CDJ-2000 MK2 has got some new features such as:
– BEATSYNC Feature (as seen on Pioneer XDJ-Aero)
– Loop Chopping/Slicing via ‘LOOP MODE’
– Zoomable waveforms
– SLIP Mode
– An even better Rekordbox integration
– Advanced hot-cue’s
– Renewed, better quantize function (in combination with the beatsync)
– Rekordbox mobile app integration (as seen on Pioneer XDJ-Aero)
– Multicolored waveform display
We sure are excited to see whats really going on and if you’re in the market for a new CDJ 2000, hold off for a few more days to see what this brings.
You’ve seen the video above and now heres ther blurb.
