Pioneer RMX 1000 Remix Station Announced

Pioneer has announced the Remix Station RMX-1000, a brand new external effects device. Designed to work as a live remixing and sampling unit in a DJ setup this standalone device almost has it all. . Check out the video below to see it in action.

Available around June 2012 for around $999 the RMX 1000 has four distinct effects sections allowing for a wide range of high-value effects. The four effects are:

Release FX: Eliminate the music playing and leave just the output of the FX from the RMX 1000, or you can do the opposite and turn off the effects and just have the track playing.

Scene FX: Create breakdowns and buildups with the use of the controller knob on the right side of the unit. Add sounds to the mix to build up effects such as echo, noise, reverb and more. Or cut sounds apart and remove elements to break down the track with multiple filters.

Isolate FX: Not using an isolator mixer? This effect will allow you to emulate that.

X-Pad FX: Want to add samples on top of the mix you are playing? This section is just for that with samples triggered from the touchpad. Whilst some basic samples are included you can add your own through the SD card.

All in all whilst this is for the more professional dedicated DJ it looks like its going to be a lot of fun and add even more to your live mixes.
