Denon have officially announced their brand new MC2000 DJ Controller, which they are tagging with ‘Own the Party.
So what does that mean? Well Denon is aiming this at the entry club level market. Offering ‘Plug and play’ with Serato DJ Into so you can start DJing straight away. Theres no external power source required, it’ll grab what it needs from the USB connection so thats one less wire to have to worry about. All you’ll need is your laptop and the MC2000 and you can get djing anywhere. The Serato DJ Intro automatically detects the controller so its set up and mapped to work out of the box. No messing around creating custom mappings.
This controller allows traditional two deck mixing of digital music files from your laptop and large collections that most DJs have now can be managed with the Serato Crate System or you can use advanced iTunes integration to access your existing library or playlists.
The thing that sets this controller apart is the inbuilt professional grade USB audio interface which frees up your computer but still get club quality audio from the speakers. Being extreamly portable and with Denons classic solid build quality the MC2000 looks like a great choice for mobile and entry club DJs who want all the controls without the hassle.
We’ll be checking this out soon so check back for our video review.
