Hercules New Line of DJ Headphones

Hercules leader in mobile DJing controllers for computers, have announced a huge new range of headphones, custom made for DJs.

First to be announced is the HDP DJ-Pro M1001, featuring a stylish design that are perfect for semi professional and professiuonal djs. Featuring one continuous arc for comfort they also have quality shielding from external sounds.

Designed for previewing tracks, the HDP DJ-Pro M1001 headphones allow DJs to precisely analyze sounds, thanks to their 5 Hz to 30 kHz frequency range – a very wide audio spectrum, allowing the wearer to hear a precise rendering of their audio tracks, and thereby optimize the different settings before playing the mix for the audience.

The headphone drivers are 50 mm in diameter, guaranteeing the clear sound and deep bass response that DJs expect. Their low impedance (32 ohms) and sensitivity of 107 dB at 1mW provide a powerful audio level which does away with the risk of being overpowered by PA system speakers.

The Hercules HDP DJ Pro M1001 headphones will be available from late November 2011, at a suggested retail price of $169.99 .

The HDP DJ-Adv G501 have been created for more casual DJs, providing high quality and comfort along with high quality sound reproduction. Finished with a black lacquer finish and green highlighting there are sure to stand out.

Its pivoting ear components (with 3 axes of rotation) let the wearer preview tracks with just one ear, and allow for easy folding and transportation

The HDP DJ Adv-G501 headphones will be available from late November 2011, at a suggested retail price of $129.99.

Last but not least, Hercules has created a third model for all mixing fans, The HDP DJ M40.1.

The headphones’ DJ look and two axes of rotation for ear
components (ear-cup 180° vertical rotation and 120° hinge rotation toward
the inside) will appeal to a large number of users.

They will be available from late November 2011, at a suggested retail price of $39.99.
