Hard To Find Records in Birmingham this Saturday (21st March 2009) are letting you get “hands on” with the eagerly awaiting NS7 controller from Numark!

The NS7 has been developed in conjunction with DJ software maestros serato. It’s a dedicated DJ controller delivers high-resolution, and ultra-accurate control for the most natural dj software performance. Designed primarily for use with, and including Serato Itch software, the NS7 is versatile and ready to control most midi compatible DJ software. Created as a dual deck and integrated mixer console, the NS7 features two high torque, rotating motorised platters for a genuine vinyl playback and feel. A solid 2-channel mixer gives level and fader controls, with dedicated access to EQ and monitoring features, just like a traditional DJ mixer. The mixing experience is further enhanced by a wealth of additional assignable midi controls. Loops, hot cues, samplers and effects (or whatever your software can offer!) can be easily applied by the featured 8 rotary controls, 8 triggers and 2 mini sliders. Audio streaming is provided courtesy of a built-in high performance USB 2.0 audio interface that delivers pristine 24-bit audio, maintaining the signal integrity of your digital media. The interface also means you can also use DJ headphones for monitoring, just like with an analogue DJ system. The USB 2.0 interface allows your software DJ set-up to be connected to any audio system direct from the NS7 console, so you don’t need any other interface for your computer. For more professional applications, there are even balanced XLR connectors to complement the standard RCA outputs. The NS7 is a powerhouse of a digital DJ controller, and when coupled with software as capable as Serato Itch, DJing via a digital interface can really step-up to a new level.
